What is the prize bond?
Prize bond or you can say it a lottery bond issued by National Savings Pakistan under the Ministry of Finance on behalf of Pakistan’s Government.
In which denominations are prize bonds available?
National Saving Prize Bonds are available in denominations of Rs. 100 prize bond, Rs. 200 prize bond, Rs. 750 prize bond, Rs. 1500 prize bond, Rs. 7500 prize bond, Rs. 15000 prize bond, Rs. 25000 prize bond and Rs.40000 prize bond.
Do prize bonds expire?
No. prize bonds never expire.
What is the schedule of the prize bond draw?
The prize bond schedule of draw contains draw number, place of draw, and date of draw. Check the schedule of prize bond draw.
What is the validity period of claiming prize money?
You can avail prize money within six years from the date of draw.
How to check prize bonds?
You can check your prize bond from the prize bond list uploaded by the official website of National Savings.
How much tax would be deducted if someone wins a prize?
In the case of non-filer, 30% of the winning amount will be deducted. For filers, 15% of prize money is deducted at the time of payment of prize money.
How can a person claim the prize money?
To claim your prize money, you need to fill in the claim form along with a copy of your CNIC, winning prize bond (original), and Photocopy of the winning prize bond duly signed by the prize bond owner on the backside and submit it to the State Bank of Pakistan. Download Prize Money Claim Form.
Prize bond is Halal or Haram?
Ulema has declared the prize money given to the prize bond owner as “Riba”.
Where can a person purchase prize bonds?
You can purchase prize bonds from any National Savings Centers and the State Bank of Pakistan.
Where can a person sell prize bonds?
You can sell your prize bond at any National Saving Centers or at the State Bank of Pakistan.
Where can someone get draw results?
You can get the full draw list from the National Savings official website.
What are the charges of the prize money claim form?
The prize money claim form is free of cost and can be downloaded from the official website of National Savings or Download Claim Form
After how many days of draw someone claim prize money?
You can claim your prize money after 3-4 working days from the date of draw till 6 years from the date.
Can someone claim prize money if the prize bond is damaged?
Yes, you can claim prize money following the terms & conditions of the State Bank of Pakistan.
Is the process of prize bond draw fair and transparent?
Yes, the process of prize bond draw is completely fair and transparent.
What is the procedure for prize bond draw?
Prize bond draw is held by a committee under the Central Directorate of National Savings and open public. In a ceremony, winning prize bonds are drawn through a hand-operated machine operated by special children in presence of Committee members and the general public. Where can someone attend the prize bond draw ceremony?
Everybody can attend the prize bond draw ceremony along with a valid CNIC.
How can someone confirm that the prize bond purchased would win a prize?
No. Nobody is sure about what prize bond would win a prize.
How many numbers in a series of prize bonds?
There are 999,999 numbers in a series of prize bonds i.e. one less in one million.
Can someone purchase more than one prize bonds?
Yes, you can purchase unlimited prize bonds.
