On Wednesday, December 12, 2022, while speaking to reporters in Islamabad, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that PDM had been exposed because they were not honest to Pakistan.
“Why did all these people use to take iqamas? If as the interior minister obtain iqama, it means there is something fishy and I don’t believe in my land” he added.

The federal minister further said that all the thieves are united now after the wealth collected through money laundering and corruption was exposed and claimed that they were being victimized.
A reporter asked that who is next after Khawaja Asif arrests by NAB on Tuesday, the minister said it was not yet known but added without providing details; “we will cancel the passport of Mian Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday, February 16, 2022.”
PML-N leader Mian Nawaz Sharif has been living in London since November 2022 after he was allowed to leave the country for medical treatment.
